"MY MEANIE MARIE" To my daughter Shirley! ALL MY LOVE, DAD! XOXO Shirley, this is your Dad, remember me? I'm sure you don't, but I'll NEVER forget you. You were "MY BABY GIRL"! You had such pretty blonde hair, and blue eyes like mine. I'm watching over you from heaven, and I see you all the time. When you get to heaven someday, I'll know who you are right away! Won't that be a happy day? I'd say. I nicknamed everybody I'm sure you've been told. I sure didn't live to be very old. All of you kid's have outlived me. I'm glad you love to hear stories about me too. Just ask Margie, cuz she's the glue. It amazes me that "RUSTY'S", so much like me! We both love to tease. He's "WHOLE" now and he helps take care of me. I know you were a good mother to him. He really likes your Uncle Jim. I met your "AUNT NORMA" at heaven's gates when she passed away! So, tell the family she made it home at last. She didn't suffer...she went pretty fast. I love her great sense of humor, and hearing about the past. I know you & Margie are really close! I used to call Margie "PUNKY THE MONKEY" when she was a little girl. She was so cute cuz she had lots of curls. She too was "MY PRECIOUS BABY GIRL". I wish I would have lived long enough to seen Sharon. I would have loved her too. I'm very proud of all of you! Always do your best in everything you do. I am counting on you! How's your mom doing these day's? Tell her your Dad said Hello. I know losing Norma was quite a blow. It's going to happen to all of you someday...you know. Margie & Bobby haven't changed a bit. He makes her so mad, and he needs to quit! Margie's poems sure do have good wit. We all send "OUR LOVE" to you 4 kid's. How Bob Loter came into the picture is beyond me. The secret must have slipped out, and Margie fouond out about me. I'm proud of her for Welcoming him into the family! Your Grandma & I, Rusty & Norma all send you Love from heaven above. I'll Always love "MY MEANIE MARIE", cuz honey, you belonged to me! Love, your Dad xoxo Robert Waldo Phillips Poem by: Marge Hillgartner Robert Waldo Phillips daughter [Bob Phillips] 12-25-2005
